There are two categories
- Plane Drawing - There are two dimensions on a plane
- Solid Drawing - These are three dimensional objects
Our world has three dimensions, but there are only two dimensions on a plane:
- length and width make a plane
- x and y also make a plane
And a plane goes on forever.
It's about flat shapes like lines, circles and triangles. Shapes that can be drawn on a piece of paper
Solid Drawing is about three dimensional objects like cubes,
prisms, cylinders and spheres.
There are two main types of solids, "Polyhedra", and "Non-Polyhedra":
Polyhedra: have flat surfaces
Non-Polyhedra: have one surface or more that is not flat
